Lets start with the most conflict term "Religion", a very very hot topic for our socialists, communists, journalists, also for all the people while having "Chai pe Charcha". And always been included in the political agenda by our so called (cold hearted) leaders.
The term which is one side a soul of Indian history and the other side chronic wounds of it.
You will find the different variant of Religion from different sources. For the basic reference, the origin word of religion is "Religio" (Latin) which means 'Obligation' or 'Bond'. Likewise you will find so many meanings for this term.
After study of all these variants, What I understood is that any kind of internal force which bind your duty is religion and that bond can either be with negative force or positive force. For me Religion is nothing but the self made law to abide your duties that can be either for Right or for Wrong. So, as per my understanding it would be unjustice with hindu mythology if we will refer the word Religion anywhere for it. The ideology of hindu mythology is much beyond of anything else like this term.
I have seen many documentaries and movies to understand the hindu mythology and here I want to refer one of the epic movie "Dharm". The movie is all about the journey of Brahmin who struggle to protect his Dharm but when he fails to do so, he laid the foundation of new Dharma to serve the humanity. Although the ending of the movie is not realistic but it narrate the true hindu ideology by serving to the human (creation).
Now you must be thinking about the mentioning of creation. I am also going to discuss it but before that I also want to take a reference of one epic book "Freedom At Midnight" written by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins.
The fabulous work and research made by the authors of this book which compel me to write about this topic. Let me clear that the book is not about the Hindu Mythology. It gives you the picture of India at the time of its Freedom and its Partition.
The Author while introducing India's Hindu Faith have write "To the Hindu, the creator and his creation is one and indivisible". This one and the only sentence is quiet enough to interpret the ideology of Hindu Mythology.
You might be thinking, Who is creator? What is Creation? and How can it be one and indivisible?
Creator is a Cosmic Spirit who create the universe and gave a many creatures in many form. For Hindu Creator refer as God.
Creation can be refer as all the creatures in the universe which is created by the Cosmic Spirit (God).
In Hindu Faith, one worshiped God in Sun, Moon, Stars, Rain Air, Water, Fire, Earth, Trees, Plants, Crops, All Animals like Cow, Ox, Snake, Elephants, monkeys etc. and in each and every creation. We see God in our ancestors, Sages and see goddesses in a girl child. For us Rivers are sacred, Mountains are sacred like this we respect all creations as our Creator (God).
We shaped all emotions and cosmic energy so that we can be able to address our dilemma. For example - the Statue of Maa Durga with eight hands express the strength that Women are eight times courageous than any one. The Statue of Ram express the calmness, Honesty and Justice like this In every idol of gods you find the solution of your problems.
In short, the ideology of hindu mythology is to serve the humanity, to serve the creation.
Further to this, I just want to convey that whenever you exchange the words on religion or any related topic just think before using any word; analyse it and if possible just ignore the conversation. Why, I am saying this because the entire digital media is commercialized. Here, what you exchange is not the choice of yours it is the choice of our leaders, industrialists and Businessman.
In last, again I want to refer the same book of which more than half of the content is about the Massacre, Assassination, Riots, killing. All those horrific scenes comes to the front and make you feel more horrifying as you know that all were the real, the people were real and those massacre was real. And the only beneficiaries from that situation were leaders, Dacoit and Mafia. And still the benefit is continue to them from the lives of innocents.
